Cookie Policy
Most websites greet you with a cookie banner because they run advertising and analytics trackers. AVEN's website does neither, so there is no banner here. This page documents exactly what your browser stores when you visit, and why.
On this page
Our Cookie Determination
In plain language: We audited the site: no analytics, no advertising trackers, no non-essential cookies. That's why you don't see a consent banner. There's nothing to consent to.
We periodically audit the AVEN website for tracking technologies. As of the effective date above, the site:
- Sets no first-party cookies of any kind.
- Runs no analytics or advertising scripts (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or equivalents).
- Uses no cookie-consent library, because there are no non-essential cookies requiring consent.
Adding a consent banner “because most websites have one” would be theater, not privacy. If our practices change and non-essential tracking is introduced, we will add a proper consent experience, with equally prominent Accept, Reject, and Manage Preferences choices, before it goes live, and update this page.
Strictly Necessary Storage
In plain language: The site works without storing anything in your browser. Forms you submit are sent once and not kept locally.
The AVEN website is a static informational site. Browsing it, reading policies, and submitting the contact form require no local storage:
- No localStorage or sessionStorage is used by the website's code.
- Contact and deletion-request forms transmit your message once over an encrypted connection; the website does not retain a copy in your browser.
- Sign-in sessions for the AVEN mobile app are managed by the app itself and Supabase authentication, not by this website.
Third-Party Requests
In plain language: Your browser fetches our fonts from Google. That's the only third party involved, and it doesn't track you for us.
To render our editorial typography, pages request font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This is a functional request for typefaces, not an analytics integration: we receive no tracking data from it, and we do not combine it with any identifier.
Like any network request, your browser shares its IP address with Google when fetching fonts. If you prefer, you can block third-party font requests in your browser settings, the site will fall back to system serif and sans-serif typefaces.
What We Do Not Use
In plain language: No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No social-media trackers. No fingerprinting.
- Advertising cookies: none. We run no ads and no ad-tech.
- Analytics cookies: none. We do not measure your browsing.
- Social plug-ins and pixels: none.
- Device fingerprinting: none.
Your Browser Controls
In plain language: Your browser already gives you full control, block or clear anything, any time.
Because the site stores nothing, there is nothing AVEN-specific to clear. Generally, every modern browser lets you block third-party cookies, clear site data, and browse privately. Your AVEN experience works identically with the strictest settings enabled.
Changes to This Policy
In plain language: If we ever add tracking, this page will say so first, and a real consent choice will appear before the tracking does.
We will update the effective date above and describe the change plainly if this policy changes. Material changes involving new tracking technologies will be accompanied by an equally prominent consent mechanism before those technologies are deployed.
Contact
In plain language: [email protected]: for anything cookie- or privacy-related.
Questions about this policy: [email protected]. You can also explore the Privacy Center for your broader data rights.
