AVEN’s high-level approach to member safety.
Photo verification has limits.
Photo Verified means AVEN has reviewed a submitted camera capture against profile photos, and a person reviews every check. It does not verify government identity, criminal history, or whether someone is safe to meet.
Background checks are not offered.
AVEN does not currently offer police-record or government-ID background checks. No verification badge is a guarantee of safety.
Member control matters.
AVEN provides safety information and account controls, including blocking, reporting, and a pathway to contact support. We review concerning behavior under our community rules.
No service can promise absolute safety.
We work to address impersonation, harassment, scams, and underage use without describing safeguards in ways that could help someone evade them. Use local emergency services for immediate danger.
