Account Deletion & Data Rights
Your data is yours. Here’s how to delete your AVEN account, what gets erased, what we briefly keep for safety, and how to start.
Method 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
Immediate, right from your phone
Still have the app? You can delete your account on the spot, no waiting period:
- Open the AVEN app on your Android device.
- Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the upper corner.
- Select Account, then scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Review the consequences, type DELETE into the confirmation field, and tap Permanently Delete.
Method 2: Request deletion on the web
For members who no longer have access to the mobile app
No app handy? Start below. To make sure nobody can delete your account but you, we’ll email a 6-digit code to your registered address.
This works for accounts created with an email address. If you signed up with a phone number only, use Method 1 in the app, or write to [email protected] from the number or address you registered with.
What data is erased vs. retained
We keep as little as possible, for as short as possible, while meeting our safety and legal obligations:

A note on future subscriptions
AVEN has not announced pricing or paid subscriptions. If paid features are ever introduced and billed through an app store, deleting your AVEN account or uninstalling the app would not automatically cancel them. You would need to cancel directly in the store.
